The Yard

The Yard is a new all-timber community enterprise hub in Tottenham, developed with Haringey Council to provide lasting benefits for the local community. The scheme includes 2, 3, and 4 storey spaces and incorporates a retained single-storey façade into the main entrance, adjacent to locally listed buildings and a raised Network Rail line. A mass timber solution was adopted for its low embodied carbon, speed of construction, and minimal foundation loads. Its lightweight, dry construction approach also allows for efficient on-site assembly using prefabricated elements.
