Ripple Pavilion

We collaborated closely with Atelier Chang on the Ripple Pavilion to address two key challenges—developing a refined structural geometry at the macro scale and creating an effective connection detail of the polycarbonate tubes at the micro scale to allow for free movement and simple installation. Using a shared parametric model, we iterated the form to achieve a lightweight structure based on a spherical surface, allowing the steel to be rolled with a constant radius for ease of construction.
