These three sites in Greenwich, developed with London Community Land Trust, aim to deliver permanently affordable homes through a volunteer-led, community-focused approach. The two- to three-storey homes are complemented by improved public spaces for planting, food growing, and gathering. Each site presents challenges—narrow garage plots above buried culverts—which have been addressed through close collaboration with the design team and stakeholders like Thames Water and the Environment Agency. The buildings will use traditional masonry and timber joist floors, with careful detailing to meet Passivhaus standards and ensure flexible, high-performance living spaces.
