Eagle House

Working with IF_DO & Hastings Commons, this historic but dilapidated building, dating back to the 1860’s, is being reworked into a youth and community centre. The new design will have multifunctional areas, relaxation spaces and flexible workspaces. Transforming the building into a collaborative and community-driven space.

The project involves the complete refurbishment of an existing five storey building and upgrading the existing façade and entrance to Cambridge Road. Over the years the building has undergone many transformations. Structural interventions have focused on creating a better internal space for a new usage and improving the circulation.
