Creative Wellbeing Space and Workspace

This community space in Newham transforms vacant ground-floor retail units at the Hamara Ghar sheltered housing block. Developed in collaboration with Green Street residents and the council it includes Green Street library and workspace and community space for local people. Structural alterations, including new voids in the existing concrete and load-bearing structures, create visual and physical connections between floors. The project also opens onto Queen’s Square, enhancing accessibility and integration with the surrounding public realm.
