Angel Yard

Angel Yard is an intergenerational cohousing community in Norwich, developed in collaboration with Archio, TOWN, and the Angel Yard Co-housing Group. The scheme includes 33 homes with a mix of apartments and houses, alongside shared amenities such as communal spaces, a laundry, and a ‘library of things’ to support circular economy principles. The design has been shaped collaboratively with future residents, with a strong focus on sustainability. We have been actively assessing embodied carbon across construction options, with the project targeting Passivhaus standards and incorporating renewable energy sources.
