Competition win
We’re proud to be part of a groundbreaking project to create a new public space in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Stratford — the first in the UK to be designed specifically with teenage girls in mind.
Commissioned by the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC), the project brings together a brilliant and deeply collaborative team including Black Females in Architecture, Untitled Practice, Light Follows Behaviour, and Simple Works.
The project also explores new ways of working, including an innovative Co-Clienting model developed with Make Space for Girls and the Mayor of London’s team at the GLA. Groups like Elevate and local young women have been central to the process from the start, ensuring the design genuinely reflects their voices.
We’re excited to support a more inclusive future for public space through this important work.
